About Me
Who I am
I’m Stephen. I’m a computer science and economics undergraduate at UNSW, Director at Gigascale Labs, Organiser of the Deep Network research community, and a keen surfer. In the past I’ve founded an events aggregator business and evaluated grants for the federal government.
What I think
A central challenge of our generation is to manage the risks of artificial intelligence as it integrates into the human world. Right now, agentic AI is permeating infrastructure designed for humans and traditional algorithms. Our financial, economic, and social systems are not ready.
What I’m doing about it
I’m growing Gigascale Labs to work on the billion-scale multi-agent safety problem. Measuring, understanding, and controlling systems of autonomous AIs closely resembles problems in economics, physics, network science, and complex systems science. We bring together researchers across disciplines to make progress on it. You can find our website here.
